Our inaugural season shines a new beacon for the future of music in the Alamo City. Alive with the power and beauty of beloved classics, the season brings the enchanting masterworks of Brahms, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, Wagner, Holst, and more. In addition to a 10-production Classics series and a 3-production Pops series at First Baptist Church of San Antonio, the Philharmonic will present 36 performances at nine public high school auditoriums for an estimated audience of over 30,000 elementary students. Join us in a landmark experience.

We acknowledge the legacy of composers and artists from the past and present who bring a genre of music that resonates with shared human experiences throughout history. We strive to create a new sense of awe and inspiration in the lives of everyone who hears a live performance and are passionate about presenting this music to our highest artistic capacity.

Symphonic music offers rich personal experiences and has the power to cultivate greater community cohesion through shared experiences. The San Antonio Philharmonic strives to create greater access to performances through affordable concert tickets and special engagements in community spaces throughout San Antonio.

To cultivate the next generation of artists and music enthusiasts, the San Antonio Philharmonic offers 36 education concerts in area schools and conducts in-school presentations and performances.
