Paint to Music Contest

The Paint to Music Contest of the San Antonio Symphony League “encourages children to explore the language of music and the role that classical music can play in enhancing creative expression through art.”

The 50th annual (2024) Paint to Music Contest!

We are so excited to announce the 50th Anniversary of the San Antonio Symphony League’s Paint to Music Contest!

The Paint to Music Contest encourages students to explore the language of classical music and the role that it can play in enhancing creative expression through art.

To mark the contest’s 50th Anniversary, the Symphony League is expanding the contest to students in Kindergarten – 12th Grade! They are invited to submit art that is inspired by select pieces in Pictures at an Exhibition by Modest Mussorgsky.

Winning artwork will be projected at the Pictures at an Exhibition: YPCs on February 28th, 29th, March 1st, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th, 2024. They will also be displayed in the lobby during the Classics concerts on March 22nd & 23rd, 2024.
