Frequent guest conductor Brett Mitchell returns to San Antonio with internationally recognized, award-winning pianist William Wolfram for a performance of Liszt’s Romantic masterwork, the Piano Concerto No. 2. Before this stop in Hungary, our musical grand tour will include a visit to sunny Spain for Falla’s flamenco-tinged Suite No. 1 from The Three-Cornered Hat. We’ll finish our journey with a visit to the Scottish Highlands via Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 3 “Scottish.”
