G6-12 Discovery Concerts

As an extension of our Young People’s Concert Series for elementary students, G6-12 Discovery Concerts present symphonic masterpieces supported by engaging visual enhancements and TEKS-aligned concepts in greater depth and complexity so as to engage an active audience of students grades 6-12. Reservations are free and open to all public and private school groups!

Experience the San Antonio Philharmonic in an hour-long performance featuring two beloved masterpieces of the orchestral repertoire: Smetana’s The Moldau (Vltava) and Borodin’s “Polovtsian Dances” from Prince Igor. Also featured are a movement of the Shostakovich Cello Concerto No. 1 and Mozart’s Overture to The Marriage of Figaro.
