The San Antonio Philharmonic begins its second season in true San Antonio style with Latin GRAMMY-nominated Juan Pablo Contreras’ Mariachitlán. International soloist and recording artist Chee-Yun dazzles with Lalo’s brilliant Symphonie Espagnole. Seasoned conductor Jeffrey Kahane and the SA Phil close this colorful program with Stravinsky’s beloved 1945 Suite from The Firebird.
